Title: Has Gotlieb said anything?
Post by: ErickJD08 on December 05, 2011, 11:48:39 AM
I remember hearing him praise UNC for their win over Wisconsin in Chapel Hill.  I wonder if he said anything of the sort with our win over Wisconsin in Madison.

That game was on ESPN. Since our game was on BTN, I'm not surprised about it. I'm sure if there is a pregame show or at halftime of our game Tuesday, there will be some nice praise for our win at UW.

Here's a podcast from today, about 9 minute mark they talk about MU.  Katz says he takes MU over Louisville.

This podcast is so sad.  Marquette is such a sidenote to these guys. And it feels like they don't want to give us respect but they have to.  Oh well.  Win the Big East and get relevant I guess.

That sums it up. Keep winning the big games and pretty soon they can't ignore you. On the other hand, I think buzz loves being ignored. Adds fuel to the fire.

In October, Gottlieb said Marquette would really struggle to find a replacement for Darius Johnson-Odom in the backcourt and that could lead to a mediocre season.
