Anyone know why he was suspended?
Violation of a team rule. Only suspended for this game so it must not have been too serious. Doubt we'll find out any more than that.
Why wasn't Cadougan playing yesterday? hopefully not another scandal at MU.

Buzz also specifically said it was NOT a legal issue.
I like the fact that Buzz sticks to team policy even before big games. How many times have we seen players commit violations, be able to play in the big game because they will be suspended for the next game against "Directional St.".
Why is Buzz keeping this so hush. We all know it was a violation of a team rule but WHAT was the team rule that he broke? Just curious it had to be a pretty harsh violation for Buzz to keep him out of that one.
I hope we don't find out. Chances are it was something stupid, so we don't need opposing teams to know about this and turn it into a chant at a game.

Maybe because the specifics are none of our business.
I think he was late for a team meeting (wild speculation) based on the following tweet...

Said the same thing in the chat last night.
Good for Buzz.
Works for me.
?? Any news on his suspension? Sorry if we've covered this already.
He said that he'd be perfect for the swing offense.
He caved, broke curfew, and ate some State Street bratwurst.
he was late for a team meeting
Really? How late do you have to be to be suspended for several games?
Last I checked JoBo it was 1 game...unless something else was stated it was only 1 game...He was late for a meeting....No Big Deal
Totally UN-BOLD prediction: Junior has a really good game on Tuesday night. Looking forward to some sick assists, a few nice mid-range jumpers, solid D.
My bad. Somewhere in the euphoric haze that was Saturday I thought we was suspended for several games...but I guess not. You are right....nbd.
cadougan who? i think i've heard of the lad before ;D i think we mu may soon be naming a new samich after todd with lots of mayo!!
What I will find interesting is who starts tonight. Last year Buzz started Eric Wiliams against South Florida, because he did not want Crowder to get in early foul trouble. Then he kept starting Williams, because they won. I got the impression that Buzz is somewhat superstitous and does not want to change things that work. It would not surprise me, if wither one of them started the game. Cadougan is the better overall player, but I could see Buzz continuing to start Wilson partly as a reward for a job well done against Wisconsin and partly because he is superstitious.

I say that DWill worked hard enough on Saturday to deserve another start. I don't think he should get more minutes than Cadougan, but I think he earned the start at MSG.
As frequently as we sub I don't think it really matters who starts. Kind of like hockey.

Buzz is one of the most superstitious guys I've ever met... I can definitely see that happening, even if Wilson only plays for a few minutes to start.

He did play pretty well the last time Marquette was in MSG.
Well, ok, second to last time. You get my point.

Al McGuire wore the same suit in 1977, after a loss, until MU made it to the tourney. He changed at halftime of the MU/Michigan game when it was announced they were in.
May not have been superstitious, may have been for other reasons, but Al certainly was superstitious as well.

Junior is apt to have a huge dimes game. The pace of this one may be greater than a game at the Summer Pro Am.

Thinking the EXACT same thing. We could see a game like he had against WVU in the tournament last year with him relentlessly pushing the ball even off makes and controlling the game from the opening tip. Really excited to see him back in the lineup in a game like this with a chip on his shoulder. My pregame pick for SOTG for sure.
