That was an awesome analysis on Taylor.

"Last season, he was a killer in isolation plays; according to Synergy Sports Technology, isos accounted for 30.5 percent of his possessions, and he averaged 1.023 points on those possessions. This season, with him lacking a great pick-and-pop target like Keaton Nankivil or Jon Leuer (who both graduated), Taylor has relied even more on isos, with them jumping to 35.5 percent of his arsenal, but he's scoring just 0.636 points on those possessions."

It's probably a combination of losing Nankivil and Leuer as well as the ankle tweak this summer, but I feel like Taylor is getting exposed a bit this year.  All of his shooting percentages down (including FT's, which are way down) as teams are keying in on him for the full 40 minutes and making his subpar teammates beat them.  Kinda reminds me of Diener's senior year.

Also, what I wouldn't give to have full access to Synergy Sports Technology info.....

Diener was an absolute stud before he got hurt his senior year.  I think he was averaging something like 18 ppg and 8 assists per game with an a/t ratio above 3.5.  Defenses certainly keyed on him and his shooting percentages were down slightly, but he was having his best year when he got hurt.

I meant the teams in general.  Both were/are PG-dominated offenses that relied on the three ball.  That kind of offense is relatively easy to defend if you can pressure the PG and take the ball out of his hands.  When Diener went down or wasn't playing at his best, we didn't really have a chance to win.  It seems that is the way things will go with UW this year too.  I wasn't trying to denigrate Diener's senior year performance.

Gotcha.  Agree with that.
