Decent amount of gold in the student section. Baby blue jerseys look great!
Hightower and two white guys I don't recognize. NOT Burr or Tim Higgins.
Hightower has the skills to call a decent game.

Are they wearing the blue shoes?
Blue shoes indeed. I'm waiting for the refs to turn around to see if I know them. Only know Hightower by the hair.
Great Junior out!!!! What the heck did he do? ?-( :o
For what it's worth, Junior is dressed and warming up.
Novak, with his wife, two rows behind the bench. Wes on the bench, looking sweet.

Tony Smith was behind the basket, opposite the grateful red.
I told some Badger fan "Good luck with your football game" at the end.
He responded with "Good luck with the N.I.T."
Some people (all the Badger fans in section 323) are just so stupid.
Loved the game though!!!
Two or three times the "we are Marquette" chant dominated the atmosphere. No band helped our cause.

Got a few token "How good is your football team?" nonsensical comments as me and some MU friends cheered in the student section, but I was pleasantly surprised about how nice most everyone was. Had some people wish us a good season at the end of the game.
Side note: It was my first time to the Kohl Center- it really is a great basketball venue. The seating rises very sharply in the second level, and its relatively small, so it kinda looks like everyone is right on top of the court. Very intimate, very cool.

I ignored the badger fans as I left. I predicted there would be the football references. Doesn't matter. I saw what I came to see!
As for the KC, the lighting directs everything towards the floor. That is what I like about the venue. The fact the 2nd and 3rd tier are more on top of the action, versus the BC, is also a strength.
And the 9 year girl that sang the National Anthem was amazing.
