Who do you cheer for tomorrow night, UW or UNC?
Would Becky be more motivated on Saturday after a loss in Chapel Hill tomorrow?
It is #badgerhateweek, so cheering for UNC is requisite, right?
How much better does a road W look against a UW team who just beat UNC on the road than a UW team who would then be 0-2 against the top 50 in its non-con schedule?
But the red nation will get its share of wins this year, so why root for one more?
However, I don't know that I can find the strength to cheer for a coach who's blabbering like a cry baby about the crowd in his recent loss to UNLV.
But he is asking Tar Heel fans to give the rodents a taste of that medicine tomorrow, which is nice.
And cheering for the Dean to cave in kind of defeats the purpose of deciding between the lesser of two evils.
Maybe I should hope for a UW forfeit. I'm conflicted.
I would like to see UW win. It will only help MU, when we win Saturday it will be even more impressive.
I look at it this way.
I hate UW, so if they lose great. If they win, hopefully we can get the "W" which would obviously help us come selection sunday. I really hope we do win so i don't have to listen to my friends who (graduated from Harvard North) throw it in my face that yet again we lost to their superior team.
Just my 2 cents.
I'll be rooting for Wisconsin... That will help our RPI (especially after this coming Saturday's win)!
In related news, former Marquette recruit and UNC national championship guard Bobby Frasor, joined Roy William's staff about a week ago. I was reminded of this as his dad and mom just passed in front of my house on their daily walk. Good luck to him!

Just watch it unfold and enjoy when bad things happen to both sides. If it turns out that UW wins, then take solace in the fact that it will help MU. If they lose, enjoy watching it happen.
let's see?... I hate Wisconsin and wish for them to go 0-29 every year.
Therefore, i will be rooting for UNC
A Wisconsin win would help MU, but I'm sure that when I start watching instinct will takeover and I'll be cheering against Bucky.
Such a tough choice! Can't stand the ACC cuz they destroyed the best basketball conference ever assembled, but Bucky's more annoying.
My levels of hate this year:
UW
Cuse
Pitt
WVU
Duke
ND
Cincinnati
Louisville
All other ACC teams
If we beat UW they move below the ACC defectors just above Duke. If we lose they remain #1 because of how insufferable their fans will be.
UNC. UW could be playing Satan and Hell's Minions and I'd still want them to lose, even a win would boost our RPI by 100 spots.

You'd cheer for Duke over Wisco? Wow. That's a bold statement.
I wouldn't call it cheering, but here's hoping UW wins. It will make our win on Saturday that much sweeter through the transitive property of college basketball
If MU > UW and UW > UNC then MU > UNC
Math is fun!

That's some good hate, right there. I have the same teams on my list, just a different order. I can't NOT have Duke #1 and Louisville #2.
Duke
Louisville
UW
ND
Cuse
Pitt
WVU
Cincinnati
But hey if we were in a basketball only conference like many short sighted have suggested our list could be something like...
1. Xavier
2. Butler
3. detroit
4. SLU
5. LOyola
6. Seton Hall
7. St. Joe
::) ?-( >:( :'(
I hope Wisco is down by 20 at halftime. Then the satelite tv and radio feed is down while the Badgers come back and win by one on a last second full court behind the head heave to the basket. Just so all those jacka$$ Badger fans do not get to see or enjoy the greatest comeback in the history of UW basketball!!
I hate both teams, so I would be happy if either team lost. The Badgers losing a close game at UNC would be a moral victory for UW. Therefore, I either want the Badgers to win or the Badgers to get destroyed. A close Badger loss is like both teams winning to me. However, I think I want the Badgers to win, because if North Carolina loses they have a good shot of having a three game losing steak after the Kentucky game on Saturday. On the flip side, if UW wins and UNC beats Kentucky the winner of the MU/UW game has a very good chance of being the last unbeaten team this year.
Assuming it is impossible for both teams to lose, I will cheer for UW to get destroyed. Why? Because I hate UW.
As a season-ticket holder for MSU football, I can assure you that Saturday might end up being the best day or worst day ever. MU and MSU combination victories would be like a little slice of heaven. If Michigan football and Notre Dame basketball and football and the Green Bay Packers also received losses on Saturday, even if sitting idle, it would be the whole heaven pie.
Crazily enough, I turned down MSU-UW Big 10 Championship Game tickets in large part because my allegiance is first to MU and I cannot miss the MU-UW game.
You've gotta root for UW-Madison. MU doesn't play UNC.
That being said, I hope it's a triple overtime win for UW-Madison and Bo gets a wooden stake through the heart during handshakes.
I'll be cheering for UNC. Any time wisconsin can lose its a good. I'll let Coach K and Duke take care of UNC

This.
OR
Wisconsin loses both games. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Tonight, I am a heel fan.
Can't believe I am saying it but gotta go for UW tonight. Would especially like to see that punk Henson get nothing tonight. Man is that guy a smug punk. Ask Jae.

I think everyone can agree with UW tonight. The big question, though, what about tomorrow night? ;)

I actually cheer for Duke over everyone but MU. Guess I have some issues :P

Did you also cheer for the Fratelli brothers in Goonies? Zuul in Ghostbusters? The Cobra Kai?!??
It'll be interesting to see the extent to which UNC is able to tilt the floor on UW v. the extent to which MU will be able to do so on Sat. Also, want to see what UW does about their lack of depth against a team that is deep and will try to tire them out. How their 3's look in the second half. Should be an interesting to see whether UNC can exploit these things tomorrow and whether MU can on Sat.

+1 Nothing better than cheering for a small private school in close proximity to a large state school.
I sincerely hope that buzz can do for mu what coach k has done for duke
Since MU and UNC are my two favorite teams, it's no contest. Besides, I can't root for Bucky in ANY sport.

+1. Didn't we have a course freshman year on hating Bucky?
I also root against them in football. Hopefully MSU will make them all miserable again.
Can I cheer for UW and UNC to go into triple or quadruple overtime and both be worn out, dead tired and barely able to get their feet back by Saturday.
Quadruple overtime would indeed be wonderful. At that point, who cares who wins!
I will cheer for UW to win for RPI reasons, but I really really dislike Saint Bo of Madison more than Roy Williams.
I actually don't mind Roy that much.
I don't hate UNC, I don't hate Duke. Both are the elite of college basketball. I'm a little jealous of both, as they truly get to select, not recruit, but I think Duke is what MU should be aspiring to be. Hopefully, Buzz can win 900 games here over the next 30 years, our undergrads can become that arrogant, and we can be the team everybody, and not just the bad-gers, hate. Or are jealous of. Go, Heels, stomp Bucky!
Hate list for the foreseeable future:
1) Syracuse - bailed on the greatest thing in college basketball for their terrible football program and money. Unforgivable
2) Pitt - Same as above, but they don't rape young boys... at least not that we know of.
3) UW - Perhaps the most arrogant group of fans in the Midwest, probably between them and tOSU.
4) Duke - They just rub me the wrong way, and Coach K shouldn't be rushing to the defense of Paterno.
5) Louisville - the first team on the list that I actually enjoy hating on. Don't really have any reason to, except that we seem to always have good matchups against them.
FWIW - UNC -7.5 over uw
GONZAGA -10.0 over nd
NC ST. -1.0 over iu
