Title: Jacksonville Dolphins-- TV coverage nationally
Post by: WarriorHal on November 24, 2011, 12:24:41 AM
As long as Artis Gilmore, Pembroke Burrows III, and Rex Morgan don't show up, we should be OK.

MASN on Monday has Georgetown listed at 7 pm eastern, and SNY shows "college basketball" also starting at 7 pm. So that doesn't look promising. Will this be an internet radio game for folks outside the Milwaukee area?

What is affecting MU games from not being viewed on ESPN3?

It doesn't list the Jacksonville game and the Wisconsin game.

The Wisconsin game is on the Big Ten Network, so ESPN doesn't have the rights to the game.  Don't know about Jacksonville.

Maybe the game is on the Atlantic Sun Network?  :D

Also, Otis Smith was a decent player for Jacksonville many years ago.

Good grief, someone remembered Pembrook Burrows. 1 inch vertical leap but a force underneath with Artis. They were a great Final Four team the year we won the NIT!

They also got beat at the buzzer by Western Ky at ND as part of a doubleheader where we won the other game (over Miami of Ohio, I think) in the opening round of the NCAA's. Nearly got killed about four times driving down that day in pea soup.
