Title: Marquette Auction
Post by: Abode4life on November 21, 2011, 12:51:12 PM
I didn't see anything about this posted, but if it has, i apologize.

Marquette is having an online auction and the proceeds go to the Blue and Gold fund.  There is a signed Butler game jersey for sale.

They've had auctions running for at least a year now.

I won an authentic Scott Merritt jersey last November.

At first did you think it was amazing jersey with so much potential, but then you slowly realized it was just mediocre?

Those have been going on for years. That stupid jackass who was our previous coach was generous enough to donate a signed Dwight Freeney jersey one year. All the Marquette Colts fans must've been drooling. He ran in some heady circles.

He's paying more to get it framed at Michael's then he actually paid for it.

He might have gotten the jersey from former Colts head coach Tony Dungy.  Or maybe NFL All-Pro QB Peyton Manning.  Just a few of the many fantastic people in the Colts organization.
