1st Half (MU vs Miss)
Possessions:  42
Efficiency:  1.23 vs 0.67
eFG%:  59% v 29%
TO%:  22% vs 28%

FTR:  Irrelevant

2nd Half (MU vs Miss)
Possessions:  38
Efficiency: 1.19 vs 0.98
eFG%:  63% vs 39%
TO%:  21% vs 18%
OR%:  22% vs 43%
FTR:  Irrelevant

Full Game (MU vs Miss)
Possessions:  80
Efficiency:  1.21 vs 0.82
eFG%:  61% vs 34%
TO%:  21% vs 24%
OR%:  40% vs 46%
FTR:  Irrelevant

How much does Offensive Rebounding matter?  In the first half, MU played Ole Miss basically to a draw (winning slightly), while allowing them to get an OR% rate of 48%.  And yet... Miss only had 0.68 ppp on 29% eFG%.  That is amazing.

In the second half, you can see MU stepping off of Ole Miss' throat a bit, mostly in the aggressiveness on the glass, but a little bit on the turnover aspect.  However, the defensive eFG% was still very solid and MU just couldn't be stopped offensively.

For the game, 0.82 ppp allowed despite losing the OR battle and neither team being very careful with the ball.  The key was MU's third best defensive eFG% performance ever under Buzz.  By the way, two of those have happened this year.

Thanks for compiling Sugar.

Encouraging to see 2 of the 3 best defensive performances under Buzz have come from this year's team.  Should bode well.  Think it is also a reflection of Buzz finally having a roster complexion to his liking - relatively long, athletic, and strong at all positions.

The color commentator last night was sure high on MU...wow...could he have been more effusive in his praise/comments?!

Individual Net Points Contributors

Positive
Crowder +10.6
DJO +8.5
TFON +8.1 (Free the Force of Nature!)
Vander +3.9
Mayo +1.3
Cadougan +1.0

Negative
Jamail -0.1
JWilson -0.8
Juan -0.9
Otule -1.2
DWilson -2.3

It's not really fair to quantify any of those guys as "negative".  They're all pretty close to net neutral.

I was just going to ask...when does it become a true negative in that it actually hurts the team when the player is on the court?

When Marquette isn't winning by 30.  It starts to matter a lot more when the margin of victory or loss is slimmer.
