Question:
Donovan...yes or no to Kentucky
Option 1: Yes
votes: 30
Option 2: No
votes: 40
We know 4everwarriors vote. I'm not so sure
Win or lose, I think he stays and gets a big raise.
They are going to name the court after Donovan and pay him a boatload of money. Foley is a great AD.
I think he stays.

It will be interesting tomorrow...but if it was "no" to Kentucky, he would have done it by now to avoid the distraction. And, at this point, he doesn't need any more leverage with Florida. Roots run deep with Kentucky. Pelphrey to succeed BD at Florida?
Yes-Donovan goes to UK after taking UF to back-to-back titles (first time since Duke 1991-92) starting lineup leaving for NBA. It doesn't get any better than this at UF. Time for a new challenge.

Not so sure he would have said no by now - negotiating a contract extension during teh Final Four can be just as big a distraction. More telling to me is the non-denial that Kentucky has/is prepared to offer him 7 years/$21 million. The public rejection could be hard to take. Then again, maybe this is all just leverage for Donovan. I hope he takes it, because I am not at all thrilled with who the next guy in line may be.

Why would he have done it by now? Negotiations 101...he has ALL the leverage, he's played this beautifully.

He has played it beautifully...I would have thought more leverage to reup before the game to provide extra incentive to 2 and 3 peat. After all, the early entry junior parents are millionaires (Noah, Horford). If they lose tonight (looking like a W at the half), then I thought risky. If they win, he is sitting pretty with either school....which is why they call him Billy the Kid and I am sitting home on the computer.
he's been quiet which you would think means UK but I think he's just been negociating...he's at FLA for a while...who takes the UK job>

he is gone unless Urban Meyer gets his pay doubled. no way does FLA pay donovan $3.5+ and Meyer $2.

why not? they can afford it. alums will ante up too
no one at florida gives a rats butt about hoops. the only non-conference game they sold out was the one against tOSU. it is a struggle to get people to come to the games. so why would the alums throw more money at him?
I want him to turn down KY just to watch the melt down on their boards. Would be some of the best web entertainment of all time!

Go over there and check it out.
I hope to God Crean turns them down, and it somehow becomes public that Crean turned them down.
I hope Crean turns them down and they are forced to bring in Travis Ford's old mustache, to coach the team. They are quickly becoming the Bob Davie era of Notre Dame Football.
