Stopped in the Three Lions Pub in Shorewood last night and was talking to one of the owners, he is planning on running a shuttle bus to all MU games this year. The bus will run to the Brat House on 3rd street (common ownership) and will require anyone riding the shuttle to have at least a drink at one of the taverns which is very fair.
I took the shuttle from the Village Pub for a number of years but unfortunately too many cheapskates would just ride the bus and not buy a drink at the tavern and the owner lost a lot of money and discontinued it 2 years ago, hope this works out for all this year and for years to come. Don't have to worry about parking ($), having a few and driving, etc.
The Three Lions is a pretty good neighborhood pub for anyone who hasn't visited it it yet, it is stumbling distance from the house so we like it.
Thanks for the tip.
Good tip. Good guys working at both places.
And I don't mean sox fans.
That's great news! I live about 2 blocks from Three Lions. I have a feeling I'll be taking that shuttle more than a few times.
Where is it in Shorewood? Grew up there. Shorewood grad!

The far north side. Its on Oakland just before you get to Whitefish Bay.
On Oakland just north of Kensington, across the street from where the Mobil station used to be. If you haven't been in the area for awhile you wouldn't recognize it with the new buildings and new bars, restaurants that have gone in and are going in.
Superbar?

A long time ago that was my Sentinal paper route. There was a George Webbs, the gas station, liquor store and a drug store. It really has changed. Have looked at the condos more then
once, on the opposite side of the Village Pub (thats where George Webbs was many years ago). The tax base for Shorewood must have gone up in that 4 corner area. Thanks.
on this note, does anyone know of shuttles to and from MU games in the Bay View neighborhood?
Slims used to run a shuttle not sure with new ownership and it is more 3rd ward than Bayview. MU used to have a link for shuttle buses on their go Marquette site, think they would advertise things like that but I couldn't find anything. I would suggest e mailing MU and asking if they have a list.
