Do these people even do research?
Jones mentioned as a possible starter but not Junior? ::)
Fittipaldo did a terrible job in the Sporting News Yearbook with the Marquette writeup and he's a writer with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
They call the MU/UW series "unpredictable." I am trying to think of when the last time a favorite didn't win in the series. It is "intense" and "competitive," but not really unpredictable.
And they don't really do any research outside of reviewing statistics, rosters and getting the coach to give you a quote.

Apparently you haven't been to the Kohl hole. They have a great atmosphere... give them there props when they are due.
"But Marquette did win there in 2007-08, so it's beyond reach."
Apparently editing is a lost art in journalism.
Been to the Kohl hole many of times. Nothing compared to Louisville.

I agree it is a great atmosphere. At times it is very loud. I would not, though, classify it as loud. Seldom does it get loud and stay loud. Selective games, yes. But few each year. I think their success has bred, to some extent, some complacency with the fans. I have some Badger friends who comment about the difference between the BC and KC in terms of noise and atmosphere. They wish the KC was more like the BC. 10 years ago, it was much in the reverse.
I am not impressed with the student section, though.
It is definitely a difficult place to play. I also agree, they deserve props for the atmosphere.

This is 100% perfect.
