It troubles me that Junior and JW haven't clinched the other two slots yet. It is theirs for the taking.

It's a motivational ploy by Buzz to push them to work harder. That is all.
Yeah, he seems to really push Junior in that manner especially. I have no doubts about junior starting on 11/11.

I agree. How can Wilson not be in the starting lineup.
Starters will be
PG Cadougan
G DJO
F Wilson
F Crowder
C OTule
BOOK IT.
rounding out the roto will be Gardner, Blue, Jamail Jones, and Wilson. Although I think Mayo and Juan Anderson will play a lot more than most freshmen have recently w/Buzz as coach. Deepest team we've had in a long time.
It was a political answer. He just named his three seniors. Why would Buzz name his entire starting line-up before the first real practice?

Based on what ive been hearing. I really think Mayo may find himself some quality PT.
I'll say this about Buzz Williams...I don't think he intentionally ramps up his hyperbole to increase anticipation for the season, but he does it. It's not from a manual and it's not something he's studied, but his enthusiam is infectious. And this goes for the lineup comments as well as his comments about last year.
I'm telling you, he's the best coach we've had since McGuire and really it's not even close. I don't care if we lay a complete egg this year and he bolts to UW-M. We have not seen his like since 1977.
His entire persona gives Marquette an edge and an attitude and I love it. Sound familiar?
PS: I was against his hire from the word go. I was totally and complete wrong. There is a first time for everything.

100% behind both thoughts, and I'm happy to admit how wrong I was.
