One exciting part of Madness is seeing the squad of potential recruits? Does anyone have a list yet of who might be attending?
Also are you attending?
I'll be going, but the Brewers are making me think twice about MU Madness. Maybe the Brewers can win in 4 and put this point to bed. ;D
I'm going to MM, unless the Brewers are playing Game 5. So, that means I'm probably not going to MM.
If any surprise guests are attending they should just get it over with and announce beforehand. Unless the Brewers sweep it could help get an attendance boost.
Is there a chance that attendance could be embarrassingly low due to the NLCS?
Maybe they should change the time to midnight!
Regarding recruits, I know Philip Nolan is scheduled to be there. Haven't been as many names as usual publicized, but that may be because we only have two open schollies for the next two years. Maybe some 2014s and beyond we don't yet know about.
I'll be there.

Damn it, the Brewers are going to completely ruin this.

No, only the Cardinals can ruin it now.
Yeah, suddenly I suppose I have something to root for.

Or Marcum ... he has been anything but a playoff pitcher.

Nah, that's too late for baseball on the east coast! :D
Albert Pujols>Brewers
No point in watching. Go to Madness.

Be easy on him, having to cheer for the Gophs, T-Wolves, Vikings, and Wild. But hey go Lynx!

Probably won't be there, hopefully the streaming quality is good

Only cheer for the Wild of that group.
Kinda sad that Angel Robinson could have been part of that team. smh
Dwyane Wade is all but confirmed to be at Madness I imagine because Wade is hosting Wes Matthews B-Day party tommorow night at Suite
"Toby Hegner, Kevon Looney and Diamond Stone"
What's the scoop with these guys???
All local kids. Looney and Stone are big time. Looney is 2014, Stone 2015.

I wasn't aware it was streamed somewhere. On MU Athletics site by any chance?

Dead on. Looney is a likely 5-star prospect and currently probably top-20 for his class (though we know how much can change in a few short years). Stone is probably the best big man prospect in the state. Haven't seen any rankings yet, but I'd guess he'll be ranked very highly as well, probably top-50 or better.
As far as Hegner, he's a 2013. 6'9" power forward, but needs to add weight. He's mostly getting looks from mid-majors, but is an in-state kid and we have offered him. Wisconsin, Iowa State, and Northwestern are also interested.

No chance for these guys. Bo Ryan owns Wisconsin.

Looney is currently #14 overall and #2 nationwide at his position. Not for sure on Diamond "In The Rough" Stone. I'm assuming Hegner is your basic traditional.

We've got Dwayne Wade, Wes Matthews, OJ Mayo, Steve Novak (probably), Lazar Hayward, and Jimmy Butler. Not too shabby.

Just found this out as well. I'm pretty sure he's a lock. If he was in Milwaukee and didn't come I'd be upset.

I have nothing against IU and I can understand that Wade might be tight with Crean, but that would still not be cool.
I have nothin' against IU either. It's that prick Crean who I can't stomach.
Not sure if a complete list of visitors was listed before but CBS is reporting the following visitors.
Marquette: 2012 commitments T.J. Taylor, Jamal Ferguson and Steve Taylor will take official visits, but that's not all. Phil Nolan, Kevin Looney, Duane Wilson, Diamond Stone, Monte Morris, Juwan Parker, Jaquan Lyle, Dennis Williams, Charles Matthews, Dominique Williams and Toby Hegner are also attending.

Seriously.... Who's going to top this?
IMO... if I'm a recruit, I'm going to be much more impressed by the attendance of those first three than I would by some wooden plaque they'll be tossing around Storrs tonight. As a fan however, I'd prefer the wood.
Always prefer the wood. The wood is for a lifetime.
But wood only comes with talent. So I suppose it's a chicken vs. the egg sort of thing.
List of Midnight Madness activities around the country.

Given pharmacutical advances, you are correct, sir. Maybe that's why Hef's fiance got cold feet.
