Is there any word as to which recruits will be on campus for the festivities? Not just for Marquette (although obviously that is my preferred list), but in general, do we know where kids are going to be spending Madness weekend yet?
Don't know about any recruits but DJO has been tweeting at Wade and a few other NBA guys about coming. These guys have no reason not to come. I am thinking Wade will be there for sure.

I can think of 10,000 reasons for them not be there. Hell, I am just a normal ass dude, and can think of dozens of things I would rather do. No offense to Midnight Madness, but not exactly a spectacle of entertainment.

Haha, +1
They aren't working, its a weekend, Wade grew up 90 miles away. and its his alma mater. If he knows more than a month in advance I am sure he can make it happen.

I'm not sure anyone is questioning whether Wade "can" make it happen. It would seem pretty obvious that he "can" make it happen. Others are suggesting that he might not want to make it happen. Maybe he's shooting a commercial that week or opening a new restaurant (i.e., "working" even if he's not playing); maybe it's his mother's birthday; maybe LeBron is throwing a great party; maybe there's a movie opening that weekend that he really wants to see; or maybe he just wants to sit at home and read a good book. There's a start on reinko's list of 10,000.
But, maybe he'll be there. We'll know in 2.5 weeks.
Maybe you are over analyzing a BS statement about a pep rally.

Or maybe you were over estimating the importance of what you apparently agree is a glorified pep rally. He might come; I hope he does. The point was simply that, given that it's just a pep rally, it's quite easy to think of reasons he wouldn't come; and its certainly a stretch to assume that he'll be there.
All I know is DJO's Twitter hashtag #BringWadeToMadness was getting quite a few mentions last night.
Will there be any recruits for 2012 at Midnight Madness? Also, are there any recruits whom we
are trying for yet in 2012? Would like facts, not rumors or dreams. What about Blaise? And is Otule coming back next year? He is listed as a junior because of his injury status.
Does anyone have info on the recruitment of Luke Fischer, Germantown, and Nick Fuller of Sun Prairie? Also, checkout Austin Mecca of Manitowoc. He is 6-7 around 215. Not a bad player and he has two years to develop and Toby Hegner 6-9 of Berlin.
Not sure about Mbargorba, but I did see a list of 5 schools and we weren't on it. Can't remember who was.

Pride and Prejudice?
I think I'm going to go & get some Real Chili for the first time in about 30 years. My fading recall is a Marquette Special was with spaghetti & beans or something like that.

Considering Marquette has a verbal from Deonte Burton in 2013, I think that pretty much eliminates the need for Nick Fuller. If Marquette gets a 4-5 this fall or spring, there wouldn't be a need for Fischer or Hegner and I haven't seen MU listed with Mecca.
I'm thinking a big for the last scholarship this year and a point guard for the remaining scholarship in 2013 and per twitter, Buzz was in Las Vegas Tuesday night watching 6-11 Matt Willms from Findlay Prep by way of Ontario and if I had to guess about a 2012 visitor, Willms might be one option.

I didn't have Real Chilli in 20 yrs but I did over reunion weekend. They only I could remember was "the Marquette Special w/ cheese" so that's what I ordered.
