Mark Miller just tweeted that Marquette, among others, is showing "strong interest" in McKay. McKay started at Pulaski, tried to go to prep school but headed back after it was a mess, and ended up there in the 2011 class. I am assuming (??) that he was a non-qualifier which means that he would not be eligible to join MU until 2013 and would have to graduate from Indian Hills to qualify.
Teammate at Indian Hills with Juan Anderson's former running mate at Castro Valley High School, Roderick Bobbit. I can't remember his name, but there's another freshman from the Los Angeles that Marquette had some interest in and he signed with Hawaii, but failed to qualify and he's a 6-9/6-10 player. I think they also have Brandon Spearman who transferred from Dayton. Talented team on paper.
Reggie Murphy?
Reggie Murphy originall signed with Washington State, went to a JUCO in Wyoming his first year, will be back in California for his second year, and has commited to going to TCU starting in 2012.

The kid I was thinking about was Ronnie Stevens.
You think Buycks might help with this recruitment if we are serious?
