cbs sports is speculating. Looks like the basketball schools will be an afterthought in a few years.

I sooo hope that you know something, and your No isn't just and emotional reaction because I would hate to have those guys too. Why take Baylor when Memphis is available? (Yes, that was intended as an insult)
Texas is valuable to the Big East and to Marquette. Baylor is a great basketball and football fit. It is a lot like when major league baseball expanded to the west coast with the Dodgers in LA and the Giants in SF.
No thanks.
We already have TCU but if we have to have another Texas school I would prefer Texas Tech, less baggage.
Top 20 incoming recruiting class (Quincy Miller). And they received a commitment from Isaiah Austin, #5 overall in '12 class. Not too shabby.
I'd guess that the Big East will take enough Big 12 schools to ensure twelve total football schools.

And their men's basketball coach, Scott Drew, loves to negatively recruit against other teams from his conference. (Just ask Texas)

And lots of stories floating around about an alleged "bag man"....many area (Dallas) HS coaches are very wary of Drew and Baylor right now, lots of stink there apparently
