Weak. That non-con schedule looks like an MU schedule circa 2009

Some cupcakes. Let's see how UNLV & NC affect their SOS. This can add some perspective to that cracked sidewalks analysis about how RPI and SOS  are weighted.

Actually there are six cupcakes (Kennesaw  St, Colgate, Wofford, Bradley, Savannah St. and Miss. Valley St.) as Bradley is rebuilding and Wofford has very heavy graduation losses following 2 successful seasons.  Miss. Valley St. might actually be the best of the lot.

I'd say four true cupcakes. Kennesaw State and Colgate were sub-300, MVSU and Savannah were sub-250. Wofford was just outside the top-100 RPI last year (#109). Bradley is borderline, but if they had heavy graduation last year, they'll probably tumble to true cupcake status as well.

Either way, this schedule looks a lot more like our schedule has the past few years. If Wofford falls off (they did lose their top three scorers) and Bradley continues their decline, it will be almost identical to our schedule last year. Six crapcakes buoyed by four high-level opponents (UNC, BYU, UNLV, Marquette) with UW-M and UW-GB sandwiched in there as well.

We did a much better job scheduling the non-con this year. It's not even close.

It'll be fun watching them get run over at UNC.

+1
It will be nice to see UNC roll over someone else.
