And in a few days, he'll start 5-on-5 play at Marquette, his old school.
Is he playing with the guys? Is he allowed to?
Pretty cool of D-Wade to come back to MU to hoop. Hopefully we can get Kris Dunn (and other recruits) on campus during this time - pretty sure he's a D-Wade fan as he wears #3.
Shumpert wasn't moved by that. But, then again, that was the other dude's doin'.

I don't know I wore 4 in football my senior season, because my favorite player from any sport was Cordell Henry. Who knows he isn't a Joe Montana fan from his notre dame years...How horrible would that be?
How sweet would it be to have a few unofficial visits going on while he was here?

Travis Diener wore 34 after he lost 10 because he was a big fan of myself during my basketball days in grade school.

I believe Travis wore #10 b/c he couldnt wear #34. Once that number was vacated (can't remember who - damn it!) he went to #34. (and Karon took 10)

Jon Harris wore 34 Travis' freshman year. Travis switched to 34 to honor his late brother, I believe.
Jon Harris I believe had 34.
Damn, you beat me to it 12.

That's awesome D-Wade is going to do this.....especially when you consider that it would make just as much sense for him to practice with his former uber-tanned coach! He probably chose MU so he isn't forever hated on the forums! ;D
Does the team play 5 on 5 at the Al during this period, or somewhere else?
thay play all summer at the al
Gotcha. Is that open to the public or no? Doesn't Rosiak usually cover these practices/scrimmages?

Rosiak is busy with the Milwaukee Brewer beat this year and is really unable to do what he's done in the past. For instance, he did not do end of season interviews with incoming recruits this spring, much less being able to get to open gyms.
Speaking of these 5-on-5s, does anyone know if Mayo has gotten to campus yet? Have Crowder or DJO returned?
I saw DJO on campus about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

DJO returns to campus next week. Crowder is still out. Davante, Juan, Mellow are all at home.

Sounds like there might be a basketball reunion going on at Marquette. Saw tweets from Butler and Acker saying they would be meeting up in Milwaukee, and that Wes would be there too. If that's the case, that is the time for Buzz to get Kris Dunn and Shaq Cleare visiting campus. Maybe bring Lazar and Novak in and just have a big NBA alumni ballin' party for the recruits to watch.
