Marquette Returns To Maui Invitational In 2012-13
The EA SPORTS Maui Invitational® Hosted by Chaminade University today announced the eight teams that will battle at Maui's famed Lahaina Civic Center in the Championship Round of the 2012 EA SPORTS Maui Invitational.

Old news, but nice to see the official announcement. Should give us 3 quality games, and will also have both UW and LSU at the BC.
I hope MU doesn't get Chaminade in the 1st round.

I would doubt it. The tournament is seeded I'm pretty sure and I don't think we will be the highest preseason rank out of all of those teams. Don't get me wrong, I would love it if we were but I don't think it will be the case with us losing Crowder and DJO. Then again, it is to far away to tell.

I don't think that's how it works. MU couldn't been seeded higher than Duke in 2007.

I think they do seed, not positive, but that is how I recalled it in '07. There was some talk at that time, though, that Coach K did not want the top seed to avoid Chaminade. Not sure that was the case, but there was that talk when MU was seeded 1st - if my sketchy memory is correct.
I looked up the rankings just to be sure but we were higher than Duke in the AP, 1 spot lower in the coaches poll.
