...I saw this over on the other board first but I thought I should post it here
It looks like he's about to take his game to a completely different level.

I'd feel better if they actually played defense at these things.
I looks like the basket height is only 9' 6" at the NC ProAm. ;)

The dunk was great not because it was good but because it was an exclamation point on the @$$ whooping we put on Louisville.
As to the "taking the game to the next level", I would be happy if he just returned to his 2009 3 pt shooting level.

Yeah, but "I'm taking my game to the PREVIOUS level!!!" isn't all that inspiring...
I know some are disappointed not to see DJO in Milwaukee's Pro-Am, but good to see he's making waves down in NC and showing youngens how it's done at MU.
That said, the NC Pro-Am site doesn't even show him on a roster? And no mention on their blog?

What stood out most to me was the little bit of swagger that DJO seemed to display. He's always sort of seemed like a quite, perhaps less than confident, player on the court. Sure, he displays emotion and excitement, but I have always thought he lacked a little bit of that cockiness that you see in the top players.
He certainly looks to have that in these videos. Hopefully in translates over to his senior year at MU. There is nothing like being a senior for confidence.
Sometimes I don't think he seems all that instinctive. His drives can look hesitant...he passes up good shots...puts up bad ones. Maybe he thinks too much out there?

Maybe all the guys in the white shirts had four fouls.

DJO started 2009/2010 hot as hell (60% through the first game of the Big East season, December 29 @ WVU) then from that point on he shot 41% from three.
He started 2010/2011 cold as ice (26% through the Centenary game, December 18) then from that point on he shot 40% from three.
Seems to me like he's a 40/41% three point shooter. His full year % was artificially high the first year and artificially low the second year due to extreme hot/cold streaks to start the year. Don't expect him to shoot 47% from three again. Low 40%'s from three is still quite a weapon, especially if he learns to harness the dribble drive after his sweet pump fake.
