Title: Marquette Checks?
Post by: marquettewade3 on July 10, 2011, 12:44:01 PM
My wife and I both graduated from Marquette and we are looking for Marquette checks.  We looked on the MU website and searched the web but couldn't find anything.  I figure someone might be able to help us out...

you can get them through most banks actually, check if your bank orders them through Deluxe or Harland Clarke, both printing companies have them available.

Last month, I wrote two checks.  One was for my bi-monthly water bill and the other was for my nephew's high school graduation.

ZFB only uses his QUEST EBT card.  They aren't available in a Marquette theme, but he did put a little MU sticker on his.

Rarely, but yes, I use them for bills that actually cost me a transaction fee if I pay online.  Thanks for the input!

I looked at those those suggested sites (Deluxe and Harland Clarke) and didn't find anything.  Can anyone post a link since I am apparently world wide web challenged?

Woodman's...the only reason I still use checks. What drives me even more nuts than just having to use the checks is that the box I have now started at 1200 and they have to have a manager clear any check below 1500. But I'll be damned if I'm just tossing out my next 200 or so checks just because of that inconvenience...  >:(

do you wait until your order is completely rang up before you start writing out your check?   ;)

They take debit, you know.

No, I'm not one of those :D I have everything except the total made out.

I got rid of my debit card a few years ago because I had a tendency to take money out too often. I'm better about stuff like that now and have vastly improved my credit, but still haven't got a new debit card. Should probably look into that.

You can also use that debit card at Aldi.   8-)

This is pretty ironic in seeing this question as I just got my Marquette checks in the mail yesterday.  Harland Clarke made mine although they're pretty unimpressive... not even school colors or a check book cover were include.

www.ordermychecks.com    is the website listed on the box the checks came in.  Although I ordered them by going into the bank.
