It'll be interesting how Pitino spreads the minutes among all those talented players.  Ultimately, you only have 200 minutes in each game for all 5 positions.

That verifies that Buzz could give the two walkons scholarships this year and remove them the next.

Did that need verification?  All scholarships are renewables.  He could have even taken away a scholarship player's scholarship after this year and had him walk on if he didn't want to transfer.

I thought so, but was not 100% sure. Player, apparantly has to agree to give up scholarship, if he is staying at the same school. That seems to be the only catch to it. I am not sure what happens, if Buzz would say to Singleton, I give you a scholarship this year, because we are not using it and then Singleton refuses not sign off on giving it back the next year. In that case I think Buzz would have to tell Singleton he could not be on the team anymore.

They're walk-ons. By definition, no scholarship awarded. End of nonsense.

Buzz told the latest walk on, he would have a chance to earn a scholarship. I can imagined him telling Singleton the same thing. Why not give them a scholarship for one year, if it is not being used?

You lose the option of a midseason transfer.

They seem to only transfer out at MU at mid season

While you thought that was a cute comment, it was also as wrong as you could be.  But, I trust you felt better typing it.   ::)

Tony Woods, the ex Wake Forest 7 foot center isn't going to be attending Louisville after taking a redshirt year there...

Do I smell a transfer, or would he have to sit out another year at MU even tho he didn't play at Louisville...

Of course if the redshirt year at Louisville trips the No Big East transfers rule, then it couldn't happen.

Your PT doesn't matter, enrollment does.

Woods has some baggage and was dismissed from Wake. Louisville fans were even debating whether Louisville should take him in the first place. I doubt Mu would have any interest.
