Nice he's getting a workout. I wonder where he'll end up playing? Europe?
No reason that he can't make a D League or Euro League team.
obligatory workout for the local kid?
I wonder what Buycks would have done if he could have been our primary two this year instead of playing out of position at the one. He has plenty of athleticism, quickness, and a solid outside shot. I know some (cough, willie warrior, cough) would instantly shoot this down, but it wouldn't shock me if he could get to the D-League and eventually get a cup of coffee in the NBA. He definitely tailed off majorly later in the season, but with a refined game, I could see him getting to the end of someone's bench in a few years.
Yeah, local kid courtesy workout, like DJ did. On a similar note, the Bucks wouldn't know talent if it smacked them in the kisser.

Not really. Dwight has workouts lined up with the Bulls, Pacers and Timberwolves per MU Athletics.
Good for Buycks! He had a very nice senior season despite being the whipping boy of quite a few Scoop posters and MU fans. Granted, I don't see him as an NBA talent but it's nice to see that some teams are giving him a look. I actually think it's "The "Wesley Matthews Effect" at work.
From Billy McKinney (Bucks Director of Scouting):
"Dwight Buycks was also in from Marquette University. I thought he played exceptionally well. I thought he was a very tough defender, I'm sure he's a guy, because he's local, that we'll probably have him back in for some other workouts in the event that there are any openings. But he was very impressive today, with his defense, as well as his ability to knock down shots and play a little bit of point guard. I'd say Buzz (Williams) does a great job of preparing his players for the next level in terms of how they practice, stay in great shape and he did an excellent job here today."

wow. pretty glowing report from McKinney. Hope it goes well for Dwight.
Translation:
We can't use him, but maybe some other team can.

Or, we'll rave about him so he gets a look overseas.
How funny would it be if Dwight got drafted. I don't think there's any way, but I'd love to see the reactions of posters if it were to happen.
Dwight has plenty of ball ahead of him. He is a tough kid and played out of position. I predict his best ball days are ahead of him.

+1, he was forced to play a lot of PG and didn't make a complete hash of it. I'd love to see him with a green-light to shoot. He had a decent shot but always looked to pass to one of our designated scorers first. I wish we had another year of him.
Buycks and Bucks goes well together just like Stats and Stotts.
would be cool to see Jimmy and Dwight in the NBA
I can defiantly see him playing some bball in Europe, the NBA however, common, he"s got no chance. I wish him good luck to him in his future endeavors.
