Title: Crossover dribble, analyzed
Post by: MARQKC on May 26, 2011, 09:00:38 AM
The New York Times has a nice, 6:30 video on the evolution of the crossover dribble, and D. Wade, as you might expect, figures prominently:

If D Wade finds his j, the crossover could be more lethal.   Brewer has done a good job on Wade.

I think they are doing a great job on Wade, Brewer is ok playing tight on him and then playing him, once DW goes past him, from behind since Noah/Boozer/Gibson always have their eyes on him too. When someone is playing you from behind its very hard to take that pull up. Philly/Celtics tried to do the same thing, but weren't as effective.
