A fellow warrior, and owner of Cleveland Pub and grill in New Berlin passed away on Monday. His name was Dave and he was an MU season ticket holder. He always talked about getting a Warrior flag for the bar, but he figured he had a lot more time.
I'd like to pick one up for the pub. Any suggestions?
BTW, he was 40 something and died of a hert attack. He went to university as a D1 basketball player (not MU). Make sure you exercise, guys. You don't want to be the one to die because your arteries were clogged just because you figured you were too young to pass.

Bump: Anyone know where to get a Warrior flag from? Or has anyone purchased from the flag store linked above?
Edit: Dave spent quite a lot of time on MUScoop too, but he never posted. Too bad, cause he definitely knew his hoops.

Yeah, it looks like their flags are custom printed, so it makes sense that they're a rip-off... except for the Warrior one where they have the market cornered!

I got one from there. It is hand stiched and will last a long time. This is not a screen printed $30. It costs $100 due to the quality of it. Stop on in the place, it is a great place.

If I click on this link (http://www.flagcenter.net/StockFlags_Sports.aspx?productID=745&PriceGroupID=0&Name=Marquette%20Warriors%20Historical%20Flag%20-%20Yellow) there's a Marquette Warrior flag. 2nd one from the left on the 4th row.

So I was walking down the road by campus and I looked up into the new dorms on Wells and one of the rooms had a MARQUETTE WARRIORS flag. I know this can be a touchy subject but I thought "hot damn that looks slick! I must have one for outside my house!" So I google MARQUETTE WARRIORS FLAG and this thread is the first thing to come up.
I clicked the link above and sadly, the flag is still $99 :(
But man, it wouldn't be a terrible addition to the flag pole or the man cave.
You have to search Marquette Warriors in the site.

I bought a warriors and my USA flag from the flag center. Both are hand stitched and worth every penny... Owners are really nice

I've bought a couple from the Flag Center for myself and as gifts, and they're great quality. After seeing the Aliexpress link I tried buying one of those also. It's only $7.80 so what the heck.

My cheap Chinese Warrior flag arrived in the mail today and it's actually OK. Not nearly as nice as the Flagcenter ones, but definitely worth $8. It took 3-4 weeks for shipping and I haven't noticed any fraud on my credit card yet.

That's awesome! I got a basic MU flag off that site and it's kinda one sided. Which is a bummer. But on your word, I will now also grab a warrior flag!

It's really thin and only printed on one side, but should be fine if you're just hanging it on a wall. The flagcenter ones are much thicker with stitched on lettering, but they're also only one-sided.

Yep, mine came today as well. Cheap, but worth $8.
I think if I had to do it over, I'd buy two, as they are printed only on one side. Not sure how you join cloth together, but duct tape, glue, or a staple gun would surely work.

I got mine today, too. My credit card was canceled shortly after ordering, and other than it being totally cheap, thin, see thru and saying "MAROUETTE", rather than "MARQUETTE" WARRIORS...it is totally awesome!

Haha! you're right, mine has an "O" instead of a "Q" also. I didn't look that closely when I took it out of the box. I'll have to get out my kids' paint for a little touch up.
