Luke Fischer from Germantown. 6'9. Would love to steal a Wisconsin big from Bo.
Anyone seen this young man play for Germantown over the past year?
With two years left to grow, he could come in close to seven-feet. Will be interested to learn more about his game.
Also, noted below that Koenig picked up an offer from Kansas. Yeah...something tells me that kid won't be staying in Wisconsin for his college years.
Saw Fischer 10 days ago at the Pump n Run Tournament in Minneapolis. Really good player. Highly skilled and fluid. Plays with poise and a high basketball I.Q. Needs to get stronger and gain weight, but he has a very bright future.

Good to hear. Weight and strength have stopped being worries of mine with young men after seeing what Todd can do with a student-athlete's body in just a year.

Or he could stop at 6'9". I was 6'3" as a freshman in high school...and still am right now. But that size is plenty tall to be on the front line at D1.

Agreed Skat. If that is one of my only "worries" about a player coming out of HS, sign him up!

I saw him play against Waukesha South at the Al during sectionals. If I recall he got into foul trouble and was pretty well handled by the blackshirts big man granted he is no slouch at 6'11'', he is also going to Northern Michigan next year. Obviously you could see some potential there and he's only going to be a junior in High School. He moved around pretty well on the court but got handled down low for the most part so like most kids his age probably needs to put some weight on.He also scored 33 points in a game against tokoto and falls.
Is Bucky after this kid?

They haven't offered him yet, but I'm sure they're looking at him, and could offer soon.
Fischer has been listed as a "Super 25" from this year's sophomore class by ESPN.
Interestingly, Koenig was not so listed.
