Oklahoma transfer commits to MU
T.J. Taylor has given an oral commitment to join the Marquette Golden Eagles' 2012-'13 recruiting class, he confirmed on Monday night.

"His mom wanted him to go there out of high school, but he went to Oklahoma."
See...you gotta listen to your mom.
""Let me tell you something: You've got one hell of a basketball coach there (Buzz) in regards to making people really comfortable with him," he said. "He's genuine, he's sincere, and his track record of players he's brought in from this area speaks volumes. That's the biggest part of why student-athletes from this area are able to make those kinds of commitments, because of those things.""
I hope this TX pipeline continues because we've benefited from it: Joe, Jimmy, Junior, Chris, Erik... The last TX recruit I can think of before Buzz was DeMarcus Minor!

That is the wrong TJ Taylor.
Is he playing Juan Anderson in a couple of those clips?
77champs - Karon Bradley. But your overall point still stands - awesome to keep the TX pipeline still going, as it makes it ever so slightly more likely that Buzz isn't tempted to leave for that region if he can get them here anyway.

There is a TJ Taylor who is a 5'9" point guard from Oakland in the 2011 class who signed with UC Santa Barbara.
