Before even opening that, I thought Louisville as over valued.

Agree.
If they took it back to all time--I'd think Loisville would still be among the top, if not the top overvalued.
Houston Rockets took Rodney McCray of Louisville, and lived to regret it, especially as they passed on then available hometown UH hero Clyde Drexler, an eventual NBA top 50 all timer. Many here wonder whether with Clyde and Olajuwon together, we would have been the multi champs, instead of the Bulls in the 90s.
I look forward to the Bulls fans screams that such is BS--lol.

Want to read some funny stuff?

Check out the comment from a UK fan.

I'm sure this guy has a UK tattoo, and a pair of UK denim colored basketball shorts.

I thought they were going to give out the biggest fake, crybaby award when I saw that photo of Wojo.  I guess he should have gotten an Academy Award for that performance.  He was completely healed 30 seconds later.  Maybe they had Benny Hinn on the bench that night.

That's really a perfect example of why teams like UK get underrated by the NBA.  The tv networks put down UK players to an incredible degree.  The latest to suffer at their hands was Demarcus Cousins.  The press had him labelled as a thug before he ever walked on the floor.  I have never seen any one person endure as much as he did without getting mad.  Tenn. player Melvin Goins actually punched him in the family jewels and he didn't retaliate.  Rick Pitino tried to get him tossed by having every one of his players punch him, elbow him, kick him in the head, etc. and the only thing the press mentioned was when he slightly reacted after he got kicked in the head.  They never once mentioned that kick.  This year a UL player grabbed a UK player by the foot so he wouldn't be able to land on his feet when he was flying out of bounds.  Not a word was mentioned about it by the press.  The press cost Cousins millions of dollars in endorsement money by making him out to be a thug when in reality he was as gentle as a kitten.

You write these stories and never look in the mirror.  I wonder why?  Not really.  I know why.  You know what you're doing.  Why is Bob Knight on the ESPN payroll?  The only thing he does is insult Kentucky.  And what happened to Billy Packer?  But suddenly Clark Kellogg became a UK hater after Packer was let go.  You guys haven't got off UK since the late 1940's when they came to NYC and kicked the dog wee wee out of the darling NYC teams.  Rupp was German, shared a name with that guy we fought the war with just 4 years earlier, and didn't have any black players (by state law btw - why is that never mentioned?) so the press made him into Hitler's brother, the other Adolph, just to get even.  Now they play that Texas Western movie every year during the signing period.  Before it was the Texas Western special on ESPN.

Yeah there's no bias against UK.  Dick Vitale told coaches to stay away from UK because Orlando Smith couldn't cut it at UK and the fans wanted someone who could.  Now Smith has shown he can't cut it at Minn. either and UK is back on top of the basketball world.  Funny how that works.  It was all blamed on the UK fans by the media.  It seems the media was totally wrong.  They knew that.  They wanted Smith to stay so he could continue to drag UK down.

Demarcus Cousins was one of the most volatile, unrestrained players in the last 5 years of college basketball.

The whole thing about Rupp with black players being mandated by state law? More like Rupp was a well known racist. Go back to your gloryhole in the outhouse behind your trailer, your sister is waiting for you. 'Ignant.

To be fair, he is correct in that the University of Kentucky wasn't integrated until 1949...so his first two national championships had to be all white teams.  But that doesn't answer for the next 20 years.
