Same here. Checked all Direct TV stations and it is not on. No clue why they changed it.
Same here. The wnit championship. WTF.
Anyone find a way to watch it? How did Juan play?
Let's face it, the CBS/Turner partnership has been a debacle and this FUBAR is another prime example how ESPN blows CBS out of the water on college hoops. At the end of of the UK-UCONN yesterday, the announcers (Kerr in particular) were going nuts that UK didn't go for the 2 for 1--instead opting to foul in the last minute. They were going nuts until a producer in the earphone reminded them that UK had fouls to give for the bonus--then it was pushed aside. This ain't the NBA, baby...but at least we get to watch all the games in their entirety.
After I turned to ESPN and got Bilas, Knight, Digger, and yes even Dickie V to get the real low down after Greg Anthony said the only reason UK lost was because they couldn't make treys (shot an average 33%)...although UCONN only shot 1-12 from the arc or 8%...and UK bricked free throw after free throw (4-12 or 33%) which would have clinched the one point game if they hit their average. Or that UCONN shut down Knight (6-23) who just kept on chucking it.
Billy Packer, where are you?
Ugh...
There is no doubt that CBS' coverage could be seriously improved, but I don't want that old crank on my television any more.

C'mon man. Chick basketball is better than watching paint dry.

I am sure, Dr., you mean your wish for Billy packer in teal. He had ACC bias big time. But the central point is that ESPN is far superior to CBS. Hopefully they will someday get the dance---in my lifetime.

Yes teal...but he at least knows the game. Brutal analyses by the NBA guys...and I like Kerr.
They are re-airing the game on CBS Sports Monday at 830 CST.
Juan played great D and should've had a bunch of assists if his teammates made their open shots.
On the CBS/Turner thing, the worst thing that they did was pair Reggie Miller and Len Elmore. Brutal.

Agreed. Miller is great. Elmore sucks.
Dudes, do ya really need the announcers to explain to you what's goin' down? Hell, I routinely mute the volume and just watch. Like to form my own opinions anyway without some a-hole talkin' head farfelling other nonsense that some 20 year-old pimple face dug up in a media guide.

But the job of good announcers is to bring you knowledge and perspectives that are relevant and that you might not think about. Even if you are primarily forming your own opinions, it's better to have something interesting and insightful coming from the box than just another "a-hole talkin' head" ;)
The CBS College Sports web-site said the high school game to air live. The WNIT was from Saturday.
I don't get it. >:(

I'm glad somebody was able to give us a game report on Juan's play - after all this was the Anderson in the NeXt thread!!! (And not debate NCAA commentators thread) ;D
I was chuckling at that too, but even after they said it was the 6th team foul and they weren't in the bonus, they continued to talk about what a poor decision it was. I thought UK could have foulded a few seconds earlier, but they tried to trap/get a steal, so I got the thinking.

I thought Bobby Knight gave some good perspective for a year or so...seems to be losing it a bit. I often enjoy listening to Digger and Bilas...loved when Majerus was doing it. Loved when Al did it.

Per Twitter he had 10pts, and nobody was given the ball up. Unless the tweet is about something else.

Maybe about something else. I heard six.
So, in her duet with Steven Tyler singing' Walk That Way, Carrie wasn't hot?

LaCage hot. Looked like two dudes up there on stage.
PS - I realize it was probably a mid-70s release, so a little after your rock star years, but the song is Walk
This Way
PPS - I just looked at a few seconds of the performance after my mom read me your post (I'm illiterate)... legs were looking good on her, but that face... absolute brutality. If a guy thinks Underwood is pretty, they probably are into horses.
Well then, this old fart wouldn't mind riding that that mare.
Guess I like horses too.
But back to the thread, anyone go to the game/watch and have any mote insight on Juans game compared to the other big time players out there.

IWB has a great write up on the other board (http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=415&f=2850&t=7392287&stm=97585477)
