I'd say it's a solid start :)
The Blue Mist will not care.
Win at all costs.
Through 2011:
If UK wins it this weekend, his Before (any vacating) record will be 511-171 (.749), one ncaa champ, three final fours... looks like a likely Hall Of Famer
If this season is vacated, as have the 2 others, his adjusted After (vacating)
record will be 407-275 (.596) zero champs, zero final fours...looks like a Hall of Shamer (certainly)
Pitino makes $7 million?
The guy has issues wherever he goes--a real slimeball. And yet, Vitale slobbers all over the guy!!!!!

Must include his endorsements.
I'm all for anyone making as much money as they can. So if Pitino can get a reported $7 million and Buzz can get $2mm, good for them.
However, along with that comes massive expectations. I don't want to hear from a coach that fans and administrations, etc are too demanding.
I don't care what you do for a living, whether a top flight attorney, lobbyist, etc, if you are being paid $2mm + you sure as heck better deliver superior results every year.
If not, those that pay your salary have the right to make a change. If you want less pressure, and therefore, less money, look for a lesser school.
Go Warriors.

Define superior results? MU is a top 25 to 30 Division 1 college basketball team. Is that not a superior result? Their are about 500 other universities in the U.S. that would love to have this result.
Buzz's new contract makes him one of the top 20 to 25 highest paid coaches. MU is a top 25 to 30 program. He's only be SLIGHTLY overpayed after being underpaid that last few years.
Bum Phillips said ..."theres only 2 kinds of coaches, them that have been fired, and those that are gonna be fired....so gettin' all the money you can is jus' common sense".

Superior results = keeping the big donors happy as well as the administration.
You should see UK's class next year - it is Fab5 like. That's probably the one that will do it.
