That's because you are classless. 1 nice post does not offset 5 negative threads started this evening. That's what you fail to grasp. 80% negative and 20% "falsely classy" does not equate to classy. Character revealed tonight Jamie...
Respect all those guys. Glad they all had the chance to play here and we all had the opportunity to watch them.
Butler is a true warrior.
Too bad about half #1 in this one, but, I agree.....thank you to those leaving us. JFB, thank you for being Buzz' first signee during a difficult time of transition and showing us that we would be okay. JF, thank you for enduring through your own personal health issues and showing the heart of a lion. I hope you somehow stay associated with the program. DB, thank you for coming home to Milwaukee and getting your game under control...you contributed mightily this year even against much criticism. And, RF, thanks for giving your heart and soul to help the program.
So...are we going to have a thread without the banter that is dedicated to our seniors or is this all we can muster?
The title of the thread should've had Rob's name. He gave a ton to the program for 4 years and didn't get a dime for it. And he had a smoother stroke on his last 3 than all of our shooters did the entire game
Agree....thank you Jimmy, Buycks, Frozena and Fulce...
You JUCOS are more than just some silly label, you're great men regardless where you started your educational endeavor and good luck in the future!
Chicos I respect you. I agree, thank you seniors for putting it all on the floor tonight. Rob Frozena with the last 3 points of the season; he deserves some putty-tang tonight. or at least some dome. JFB, Fulce, Buycks: good luck with your careers and thank you. We Are Marquette.

You are so right. I put Frozena up there as well.
Buzz screwewd the pooch by not playing Frozen-A more.....he'd have had a gazillion points!

Unfortunately...
Thanks Seniors! See you around campus. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.

Yes sir. Frozena outscored Buycks 3 to 0 tonight. That kid will remember that shot for the rest of his life.

David, let's keep it about the guys in this thread...is that possible?

What a perfect way to end his career. What a great feeling for him.

On Homer's show, he frequently says he is living the dream. I would think that 4 years as a walk-on, 4 NCAA tournaments, 1 Sweet 16 and some playing time in the tourney would be living the dream.
This was a unique Senior Class. Two 3 yr. JUCO's, one 2 yr. JUCO and a 4 yr. Walkon. But, still, a large imprint on the university and program.

okay, now find out my name!
First of all, let me echo the thanks to the seniors. Jimmy Butler gave everything he had for 3 years and secured his place as a great Warrior. Dwight Buycks was willing to do whatever was necessary, including switching positions and did Milwaukee proud. Joe Fulce battled injuries but was one of the hardest workers I've ever seen, the definition of not quitting. And Rob Frozena has given so much to this team despite not having a scholarship and not being required to bust his backside the way he did. Thank you to all of them, this ended up being a pretty darn good year and got us back into the national spotlight, even if only for a week.
Second, what the hell is wrong with people on this site? You may not always like Chicos, but anyone doubting his love for MU is an idiot. The guy creates a thread to show respect to our graduating players and he is given crap for it? That's the definition of classless and has no place on this site. None of us are happy with the way tonight went. Don't take out your frustration with the way our season ended on Chicos. He may be controversial and may not always have the popular opinion, but that's no reason to attack him when we are ALL disappointed, Chicos included.

Give me a day I probably could. ;) Too much going on this weekend...3 Little League games, preparing for Disney World with the kids for Spring Break, etc. But I'm up for a challenge if you would like.

Disney World or Disney Land? You're hitting the East Coast?

Disney World...spending 10 days out there starting end of next week. Kids have never been so I figured what the hell, let's do it while they're still young enough and my wife and I can still handle those long days.
Disney Land is about 10 minutes away...I want them to experience Epcot, Wild Animal Park...head on over to the Cape, etc.

I've never been to Disney World. I know people who go every year.
I've been to Disneyland a couple times without the family when I went out in Brea for work last year.
People I know who have been to both said Disneyland is on a "humane" scale.

No kidding....though as a former Disney employee I was able to square some things away on that front.

You might be too young to remember this

Thank you Jimmy for embracing your role every year and stepping up big time. Thank you Joe for battling injuries and doing everything you can to get on court and help. Will definitely remember your rebounding. Thank you Dwight for being an aggressor on offense and taking some games over....really fun to watch when you're hot on the court. And thanks Rob for giving all 4 years to helping all the guys improve and for being one of the biggest supporters. All true Warriors!
