Good find 1001
I didn't realize that Jae was a point guard in high school.
The Times-Georgian really has delivered several quality articles about Crowder.
Also, I think it's understated how beneficial it might be to have a dad that played professionally. RE: Crowder's late season swoon.
"I asked him, 'Does it feel like you're standing in quicksand? The harder you try, the worse you play?' And he said, 'Yeah.' I said, 'That's because you haven't made that adjustment,'" Corey Crowder said of his son hitting a wall toward the end of the regular season.
"So the problem was, he was listening to a lot of other people and they were giving him bad information. My thing that I saw was because he was doing so well, teams started making adjustments. The referees adjusted to how hard he plays. And his problem was, Jae didn't adjust. He thought, 'Well, I'm just going to play like I did against West Virginia every night, and I'm going to get 29 every night by shooting 3s.' But I told him, 'These other teams, they're scouting you, too.'"

Not only that, but at one time in high school he was 6-foot-2, 245.
