If that troop is a member here thanks for your service and for speaking such great words on behalf of all of us.
That was an awesome letter. Good luck to the author and Go Marquette!
Very cool. Most of all, enjoyed the looks on the guys faces and how attentive they were.
Ditto on the service front...we have it so good thanks to the men and women in the uniform. That includes you, Warthog.
Awesome stuff from obviously a great individual.
This was the perfect day for this video to come out because there's a bunch of old A**holes in the Raynor Lobby protesting the ROTC right now. U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
Nice find and thanks for posting the link. Really loved watching the players listen. Jimmy Butler looked like he was reading along with Buzz.
These guys really represent MU well!
Support Our Troops!!
Simply awesome. Glad I got the chance to watch this. Whoever you are that wrote that letter, thanks for putting your ass on the line every day to make sure schlubs like us can enjoy the freedom we do. You truly are a warrior.
Hope Buzz and the boys make him proud by smashing the Tar Heels on Friday night.

+ a billion.
The soft Irish came out in me when I read that. I could tell Buzz was touched and it came from a soldier telling Buzz and the team how much they have touched him. Loved your comment about the true warrior. He truly is.
This. Is. Awesome.

And +1 more to that.
Finally got to watch this, also tearing up a bit at the end. Really a special letter that shows just how much this hard-working team has brought us together. Amazed that even on here, the criticisms have dwindled for a time. Stuff like this is why I want Buzz to stay. It seems clear that his influence extends well beyond the basketball court.
That was just awesome. Thanks for posting this link. The letter was 100% from the heart from a guy who puts his life on the line everyday for all of us. Wow. I am impressed with our MU grad who serves his country, and his alma mater, so well.
God bless you out there and keep you safe. And let's hope the team cal pull out another miracle for us all, and esepcially for your loyal troops.

Somewhat related, but did you hear DJO's interview with Len Elmore right after the Syracuse game? He asked about Junior and DB and their contributions to the offense, and he said something like "we love them not only as basketball players, but as people." Clearly something Buzz would say.

That was exactly what I thought. I think he said they've "grown so much as people and as basketball players" which is almost verbatim what Buzz says constantly. I love this squad. They're 100% bought in and it's paying off big time down the stretch.
WOW. That was amazing. I'm picturing this guy sitting in a tent in Afghanistan at 3:30 AM, with a sh!t eating grin on his face, just to see his boys take the court in the Sweet 16. Perspective - noted. God bless and be with all of our men and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom on a daily basis.
As Chicos noted, great to see the guys so attentive and touched by that letter. Take that to the court, boys, and make it count!
God Bless the USA and our troops.
