I know this does not mean much, but I thought it would be interesting to see the power rankings of the Sweet 16. Bleacher Report (not a reliable source, I know), did a rundown of their Sweet 16 Power Rankings.
Unfortunately they have us very last, #16 behind VCU, Florida State and Richmond... oh well I have enjoyed playing the role of the underdogs for quite some time.

I'm not impressed by Kentucky at all this year, and Butler has gotten by on good coaching (what a great end of game play Stevens drew up against Pitt) but doesn't have the personnel.

I seriously love how almost everyone in the media is giving us attention, but making it all basically backhanded compliments by showing us as the main image and then talking crap.
We should've been an 11 as much as Tennessee should've been a 9. At the highest, we should've been a 9. I really feel that a 6 or 7 is more indicative of our playing style as well as our record. Tennessee had some BAD losses. We didn't. They were bad (25 points to Louisville, Seton Hall), but not considered bad by ESPN.
I dunno. It's just bullshit. But that's fine. It adds more fuel to the fire and I'm hoping it continues to get those boys pumped up to really do some damage on Friday!
Most of the media see's 14 losses and playing UNC. I can't fault them. The one's that have seen us play recognize that we have a chance to win. But, the only one's I care that feel we have a chance to win is the team. That's all they want, that's all they need.
Man I am getting anxious for Friday!
