So I have a coworker who, despite never actually attending the school, is a diehard UNC fan. He also happens to be out of the office until Wednesday. I'm looking for ways to "decorate" his cube before he returns. Any ideas, signs, images or the like that you can think up are welcome.
I'd love to have an image of a newspaper headline from the 1977 championship game (already downloaded an image of the SI cover), any of the signs that MU hands out to fans and anything else that might be a nice addition to his area. I'm already planning on a healthy dose of player photos (love the 3goggles) to tape over his family photos along with some MU logos conspicuously placed around.
What else might work for a proper MU welcome?
If you can start his computer, maybe see if you can download a version of Ring Out Ahoya and play it on a continuous loop on Windows Media Player for him when he comes in. Not sure if you need a password at your job or not...

Torch it all. Let him know that we don't unnatural carnal knowledge around.
I don't have any specific images or items for you to include, except to say, don't go light-handed.
I'm a die-hard Red Wings fan. When I moved to Colorado, a coworker decorated my office from an Avalanche perspective. But he didn't stop at pictures, bulletin boards, streamers and balloons (there was plenty of all that, too).
Instead, for the next two months, I was finding stuff wherever I looked. In desk drawers, in file cabinets, in binders, in the fax machine, on my scanner, in boxes of office supplies. Even in seasonal materials that he knew I wouldn't be using for 6-8 months, I found stuff. Absolutely flustered me.
My point is, go big or go home.
Saranwrap everything on his desk, everything in dark blue. MU Blue.

There would be nothing better than the 2nd place banner. I would like to see that again if somebody has it.
Wrap every item on his desk in warrior paper.
Dont stop at just wrapping up his keyboard or pen holder. Pop off each Key wrap them individually write MU on them and stick it back on THEN wrap the whole keyboard.
Continue this with individual pens, paperclips, staples, ect.
We did this to a kid my freshman year when he left his door unlocked for spring break, it was pretty epic when he got back.
I'd include a picture of the three goggles. Either the one of DJO and Vander both doing it or the 3 goggles instruction card someone recently made on here. Both have been posted recently I'm just not in the mood to search through the posts on my phone.

Best one here. Hit him on the falsenees of his fan pretense---HE IS NOT UNCer.
If he is not an exUNC student--its only college sports fandom, MJ love, and pretending to be part of a group for the perceived status; that motivates him. Heck, he'll hardly even know the basis of the deep Duke rivalry roots.
My sister, used to go to Badger FB games, and regale me , and others with her love of UW....She never went there!!. She was pretending, because many others simply assumed she went there, and it would cover up, that she was the only one in our family not to finish college. False fandom, to mask personal perception fears--it was wrongheaded.
If you want to go beyond the rivalry of the MU/UNC game, and hit him hard, where its personal...hit him on the BS, and pretense of his UNC support.
(BTW-- I am not actually recommending such personal hurt, I'm just giving you the analysis of his achilles heel. I wouldnt go there, as I enjoy anyone supporting any team, as long as their reason is enjoyment of the games or the play of the team)
put tar on his heel... har har get it...tar heel
Just spent a good chunk of the morning adding to his workstation decor. He'll be finding MU stuff for a long, long time. Now, let's beat UNC so I can spend this weekend really overdoing it.
Post a pic.

Well played. I am going to decorate my own desk like that.
My UNC counterpart got me this morning by decorating my office. That's cool...good laughs. He's in a great mood since his boss, Duke grad, lost last night.
UNC counterpart is worried about how soft his team is and how tough ours plays. He still expects to win but he's taking nothing for granted.
