Just heard an interview with Brad Stephens of Butler on Mike and Mike.
Don't know much about him but he seems humble and must know his X's and O's.
The guy is 114-24 over his first 4 years as head coach. He looks like a computer nerd, but is definitely getting the job done. Butler better back up the Brink's truck to keep him because my guess is he will be in demand the next few years by almost every major that has an opening.
He looks just like my lab partner from HS Chemistry, but you can't argue with his success.
When I4 is looking for a coach in the next year or two, they won't need to look far. :D

Right!!! I'm thinking they may be wishing right now for this guy's success. Think about how he could recruit at I4 right now.
But we digress. Back to the Warriors winning the next game.
Stephens JUST signed a new deal after going to the Championship game last year. Would Butler be willing to write a new deal again this year? I don't know, but I'm sure some if the Butler Alumni wouldn't mind if they did.

Probably depends on how much he was paid in the new deal. If he is getting good pay already with a strong buy out clause, then he will likely be there a while. In today's economy, only a few schools can afford to back up the Brink's truck--there would still be a few out there though.
He's made it pretty clear that Butler is his ideal situation. I don't see him leaving... ever.

I seem to recall that he's getting ~$1mill. Not bad, Indy has a number of suburbs that offer a very affordable cost of living. He has very strong ties to the area too, he's from Indy (I think his wife is too).

I'd always assumed he was a Butler alumnus and that that was why he couldn't be pried loose. (Nope, he went to DePauw, in Greencastle, Ind., not-so-proud alma mater of ex-veep Quayle). Not that DePaul and whoever else wanted him last year is the equal of the jobs opening up this spring. Still, seemed like last year, if ever, was the year for him to jump. Who'd ever have expected he could repeat that level of success?
Oh...I thought this thread was about Stacy Johnson Klein again..

was going to post that at work but was worried about the filters red-flagging the search of her photos.
