Agreed. Every time we make our first subs I comment that our real starting lineup is in.
I actually think in some situations vander can be fit in there. He plays great defense and is an excellent rebounder for a guard.
no... not really.
When we go 3 guards, jimmy plays the 4 and Jae plays the 5 we are able to spread defenses and attack from anywhere.
Crowder did a bang up job on Jackson the last 4 minutes.

I was going to say that this is probably a close second, IMHO.

I thought Jae gave a great effort against Jackson the last 4 minutes..but Jackson did score 4 of his 7 points against Jae down the stretch. Otule was huge against Jackson.
I cant wait to see Jr and DJO in 2 years... that will be an analogy with two really good people scoring hoops@
DJO is a Junior, so we only have 1 more year of Junior and DJO together unfortunately
I don't agree. I love Junior but he's not consistent enough at this point. I like him off the bench. Our rotation tonight was SPOT ON perfect.

I thought DJO controls our offense and really elevated our offensive game.
It will be interesting if Wilson can equal what Butler brings to this team. If he is as good as people are saying, we will be awesome next year with how much Junior and Otule have improved throughout the year. Add in a more mature Blue and we have a scary team.

+1
And I bet we are still picked to finish 9th in the big east.
I was going nuts seeing Buycks out there, but I think Buzz did it because Buycks was a senior. Joe was the only senior (Not counting Rob) that wasn't on the floor.
When the seniors are on the floor, they play with more focus and will. Witness the minutes Joe gave us.

Wilson wont bring the intangibles that Jimmy does but hes real talented. Combine that with Jae and DJO as seniors with Otule, Gardner and Junior who have already improved like crazy and it will be a real fun team. Obviously dont forget Vander, Ewill(still has lots of promise in him), the recruits and of course Jamail who many forget is still the highest rated prospect.
Next year was when I expected our program to take off. were in the sweet 16 now and i love it.
Junior's pass to DJO on the baseline the end of the first half was outstanding. Got me fired up!!!!
Nobody on this team comes close to Jr. in passing.
