Title: How big of a deal was the loss of Triche?
Post by: JTBMU7 on March 20, 2011, 09:30:11 PM
Think that really made a big difference, not saying we wouldnt have won either way, but he is really important to their offense.

That's back to back years that they lost one of their best to injury in the tourney... too bad so sad, on to Newark, UNC is going DOWN!!!!!

I'm am so friggin happy right now...

I believe Waiters came in for him and he almost beat us.

I actually think not having Triche helped SU. Waiters is better going to the hole and came in and hit a few big shots. Waiters is just a better athlete with more quickness and speed. The only reason he prolly starts because he's a vet and Jimmy B can trust him more at the moment in big games.

I'm very high on Triche however he's like the sprinkles to Cuse's sundae. His loss wasn't devastating but certainly hurts because he can be a big time impact. When he's on he's wow good.

Yes and he scored a career high 18 points on 8 for 10 shooting.  He was deadly.
