It's quite possible the only two Big East teams that make it were a result of them playing other Big East teams. Just last week there was a conspiracy by some that 2nd round matchups were done on purpose to prevent Big East teams from advancing. It may turn out that these are the ONLY two teams to advance...the conference may want to send the NCAA committee a bunch of flowers
Can't wait for someone to post Syracuse blogs after the game
I think Charles Barkley is scared of Pitino

GO FSU--- Kick ND, and that smarmy look off Hansborough' s face.
Thank god for this special evening, and our win.
With the Pitt loss, I was bracing myself for the extremely sour task of having to actually root for ND.
..Now I dont have to....forget all the "good of the conference" worries ....I want us in the sweet 16 and no 2 seed ND OUT, watching us on TV next weekend.
The how many teams from each conference talk lasts only during the tourney, as a sidebar.
The MU/ND issue , on the other hand, has some legs, and longevity.
MU is in sweet 16 and ND, in a very big, senior laden year getting a 2 seed, and NOT making the Sweet 16, will give me years of ammo against my ND alum contacts, incl. my old law partner, a former president of the ND club of Houston.
ND only rents its BE spot, refusing to bring its football over. And.....well forget all the rationale--- its ND its ND--and it must be destroyed!!
Go Seminoles!!
houwarrior,
bragging rights and the holy grail of MU Hoops memorabilia - that's sweet

I thought then brackets were set up in a way to go against the BEast. There were three spiraling team in the Big East. It was Nova, Georgetown, and St. Johns (with the injuries). They did not pin any of these teams against another BEast team. They put four teams that were playing pretty well to play against each other in the second round, MU, Cuse, Cinciny, and UConn. There is no excuse for Pitt, UL, and ND, but there will be upsets. I did think the bracket was set up against the BEast though.
