MU or someone else just got the Brinks truck ready to back up to the Williams bank account. LOL.
Another wonderful coaching job today. He was fantastic with his timeouts and his substitutions. The kids executed. Well done Buzz and staff. Even if MU had lost, I would have said the same thing....the boys played their asses off. Well done.
They are playing with confidence, swagger and chip on the shoulder. That does come from the coach.
Agree.....Buzz is no longer flying under the radar....and honestly I don't see him leaving MU now .....but we better get him wrapped up before the weekend.
FWIW
The UNC boards are cautiously optimistic...they were afraid of the SU zone but we have a far more athletic team than they have seen most of the season....their height and length is going to be a challenge,, especially Henson and Zeller but our outside shooting and athleticism could give them fits.

I hope Buzz stays, he is recruiting very well and MU has just as much tradition as some of the other so called elite teams if not more. MU may have to shell out some cash....
YEP. Buzz made $2m on DJO's 3 right there.
Buzz aint goin' nowhere. He's not going to bail on these kids. Guaranteed. End of discussion.
Parrish will probably predict $20 Million.
Father Wild, open up the piggy bank before you leave kind sir. Get this guy locked up.
Not to mention the Family in total MU gear
When I saw him hug his wife and kids...and then hug Cottingham (I think) on the floor...all thoughts that he might leave left my head.

His little boy was crying he was so happy...great to see that kind of feel good moment for them.
We should hand Buzz 5 years and $11 million. Put his pay with the elite. We may need to re-up him in a year or two, but that's fine. Looking at our future, we have great recruits coming in and the odds are we haven't even seen the ceiling of what Buzz can do. He delivered two great performances. Shut down one of the best guards in the country in Tu Holloway, then beat the Syracuse 2-3 zone that has given us fits. Great coaching the past couple weeks.
Well MU students let Cottingham know your feelings on Buzz. Get on your feet and support your man.
If Marquette raises my tuition and leave a note that says "This raise in tuition is to keep buzz williams" i will shut my mouth and fess up that extra cash.
Alumni and their donations speak louder than the students. I smell a call-a-thon coming
I knew at halftime that we wouldn't lose this game (okay, well I had a feeling). Buzz had his f'in gameface on and stormed away from that interview lol
Reminds me of the ending of Jerry McGuire, when the owner of the team looks at McGuire who is now expecting a big pay day for his client and the owner goes "I know, I know."
Buzz Williams is my Aaron Rodgers. .

How about Fr. Wild right behind his family. Hopefully he had a big offer in his hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buzz has really used his timeouts effectively in the tournament.
Loved our energy...and we finally got a break. Triche gets hurt and they turn it over on the inbounds.
Wonderful win.........bring on NC
doing the belt all night long....!
I think he could buy a small town in Oklahoma if he really needs be closer to OK.
