I am working in my office (living in China, it is Monday morning here) and watching the stream; when he hit that three I literally jumped out of my chair and yelled! Every single person in the office was starting at me, and the other American who works in our office comes running down the hall (ND grad rooting for MU) to celebrate. Soooooo sweet!!

Jae's 3 was huge. I recall thinking when he took / made it that it took courage. I say courage because he's been off his 3-point mojo recently. He found it for that shot, though! ;D
Yes, DJO deserves it; everyone played well.
JFB was always there when we needed him. That steal at the end of the game was HUGE.
Loved DJO's shot, but I go with Crowder.
16 points, 6 rebounds, and that three was huge. He also made 7/8 free throws, the last two under extreme pressure to make and played awesome defense on Jackson while Otule on bench.
Jae's JuCo team won the national championship. He has experience stepping up!
As good as DJO was the player of the game was Crowder. He hit the three to tie the game. He made 7-8 free throws including the 2 at the end of the game when they specifically fouled him before the ball was inbounded. He played good defense on Jackson when Otule got in foul trouble. I also believe he was the one who came up with the ball at the end of the game when the Syracuse purposely and stupidly missed the free throw.
DJO-- his offense helped get us back in the game after we fell behind early, then he hits the biggest shot of the year.
Jae gets high honorable mention.

CLEVELAND -- A Big East team got through Cleveland to the Sweet 16, just not the one most people expected.
No. 11 seed Marquette took advantage of No. 3 seed Syracuse's mistakes and its knowledge of the Orange's 2-3 zone to score a 66-62 victory. The game was tight throughout, and the Golden Eagles took the lead for good on Darius Johnson-Odom's 3-pointer with 25.1 seconds left. Marquette's ball pressure, transition game and rebounding proved too much for the Orange to handle as they beat Syracuse for the second time this year.
Turning point: With the score tied at 59, Syracuse called timeout to set up a shot with 51.6 seconds left. But the inbounds pass resulted in a turnover as Scoop Jardine strayed over the midcourt line to retrieve it. That typified Syracuse's night, as Johnson-Odom hit his go-ahead shot on the next possession.
Key stat: Syracuse committed 18 turnovers, which Marquette turned into 23 points. That helped neutralize the fact that the Orange shot 55.3 percent to just 41.2 percent for the Golden Eagles.
Star player: Hard not to vote for Johnson-Odom, who had 17 points and the game's biggest shot. But don't overlook Jae Crowder. The forward slithered his way inot the gaps of the Syracuse zone for 16 points, added seven rebounds and played excellent defense on Syracuse big man Rick Jackson, who had only seven points.
I'll go with Crowder. Huge 3 to tie the game, and fabulous defense against Jackson. Throw in the beautiful break with Cadougan. Dang.

When was the last time we could say our rebounding proved too much for another high major D1 team?! Cudos to Otule, Jae and Jimmy for really working on the glass this season.
Co SOGs for Jae and DJO??
Normally I dislike co-SOG's but it's almost impossible to pick between Jae and DJO. Junior played very well but not above those two.

Jae Crowder would be a close second. He hit a big three to tie the game. Play tough d, on Rick Jackson. He is now hitting his free-throws.

I almost punched the ceiling of my living room and scared the crap out of my dog while my kids were running away not wanting me to high 5 them.
