Looks like Kentucky will be making it to the sweet 16
not enough offensive firepower for WVU this year.
will be real interesting to see the KSU-UW game tonight. KSU played dumb basketball last time they played Ryan in the tourney, not protecting the ball, etc. It will be interesting to see if KSU tries to utilize it's athleticism and apply some pressure on Gasser, Brues, and Jarmusz.
UCLA vs Flordia game is a great game.
Come on Pitt!! if Butler wins, everyone in the nation is going to be on the "overrated Big East once again" bandwagon. f***.
Plus, it'll really screw up my bracket.
The way Butler is hitting from 3 down the stretch they could beat anybody tonight.
er uh...
well holy stupid players.
Pitt with a terrible job on their last possession. Not even getting a shot off when you're only up by 1? Jeeze.
They want Butler to win!!
Most bizarre ending of any basketball game that I have seen. Terrible way for it to be decided. Not questioning the calls, they were correct. Just a terrible way for this one to end.
Only five Beast teams left and sunday two more get punched out
UNC vs Washington is a track meet... We would have to slow the game down if we played either of them...
Both of those teams have superb athletic talent and size...
great ending to the Duke/Michigan game. Michigan played much better during the tourney than they had during the B10 season

They are pretty young also. Michigan should be pretty damn good next year.
Wish Michigan had gone for the win there. There were a couple guys outside the 3pt line ready to shoot.
For all the criticism it got here and elsewhere, the Big Ten is acquitting itself nicely this tourney.

Yes they are and now OSU is going up against George Mason without one of its best players (sick). It could get ugly.
does dallas lauderdale play MLB in the fall for the buckeyes? jeez. i haven't watched OSU this year. that guy is HUGE

Some of us have recognized how good the Big Ten has been all year. Unfortunately some bias here doesn't allow others to take a step back and admit it.

It got there. Ohio State looks incredible.
OSU looks unreal. However, halftime analysis says it will take a "team who like's to play quickly" with a "2 who can be comfortable as a point guard." In all seriousness though, we'd get destroyed. I see no one stepping in their way.

Meh. OSU almost lost to a very mediocre Northwestern team a week and half ago. It all depends on the day.
But, if they're dropping contested threes like they did in the first half of this game...no chance.

the tournament isn't a good measure of how good a conference is. if mich played UNC I think they'd get killed. if Duke played IL, they would destroy them. its matchups and styles. plus these games dont speak at all the gauntlet of some conferences vs others, only matchups of the teams in the top half.

Somehow a bunch of white, slow, unathletic, smart, boring style guys beat them this year.. Northwestern, similar in style, took them to overtime, twice.
To beat them, you have to slow the game down. I disagree entirely with the analysts that say an athletic team can beat them. A track meet is not the way to beat them. Grind out every possession and pray they aren't hitting their shots, you might have a chance.

I agree entirely, I'm just saying the Big Ten isn't nearly as bad as the homers here have been saying this year. They have a lot of quality up and down and arguably the best team in the nation. The tournament is a crap shoot, always has been.

I don't know how you would know that. They played a weak nonconference schedule and once they got to the Big 10, they did not play athletic teams who would try to speed them up. Maybe Fla tried it, but that was the second game of the year and makes a sample size of one. After watching UNC-Wash today, just think of Sullinger trying to chase Zeller down the court. He got tired against WI in WI, and that was one of the big reasons OSU lost. Just think if you could really get him going up and down. You could really limit Sullinger's effectiveness. Also, OSU is not tremendously deep anywhere, and one way to slow shooters is to get into their legs. If a team has the guys, I think going up-tempo on them is actually a great way to beat them.

Some of us have recognized your annoying habit of patting yourself on the back and asking that others do likewise.
Miller has done a great job with Arizona in my opinion. They look strong to me.
Florida St's defense looks to be too much for ND
