Title: MU NCAA games on cue
Post by: TomW1365 on March 16, 2011, 10:37:16 AM
I know this topic has been up here before, but nothing gets me in the mood for tourney time more than watching MU's 1977 championship game and our 2003 team's final four run.  For those who may not be aware, you can access hundreds of NCAA tourney games on:

http://vault.ncaa.com/

Check it out!

I own a DVD of the NCAA championship game and the 2003 run to the Final Four and pul them out from time to time.

One thing that strikes me is how much better the viewing experience of a bsaketball game is now compoared to 1977, with better graphics, constant time/score, etc.  You had to pay closer attention back then.

Yeah, seems like they use a lot more cameras now. Curt Gowdy's announcing skills were starting to decline back then. He had the annoying habit of calling offensive fouls "Player Control Fouls."
