He announced his resignation this morning.
I heard Buzz is going to NC State!
For a short vacation with his family!
What a bad hire
NC State's problem is that they think they should be UNC or Duke, when in reality they are more like Virginia. That job is one tough gig.
haha - way to save face sidney
NC State, Arkansas, Oklahoma... there are some pretty decent job openings this off season. Providence in the Big East open too. Will be interesting to see how the dominoes fall this year...and if Billy Gillespie lands at any of them.

In the Tubby to Arkansas thread, the linked article noted Billy G talking to Tx Tech--his best fit. He had contact with Arkansas, but if that is like 4 years ago, when he did the same, it will be through friends. Tx Tech is most likely, for now.

Maybe, but they do have two National Titles to their credit. More than most schools. They have the unfortunate situation of being down the road from two schools that have a bunch.
According to some of the Kool Aid drinkers, Buzz will likely be offered all of these jobs, so therefore we need to give him a 5 year extension and throw more money at him.
If we do, the contract should have incentives in it as well as a clause to cover any downward trends.

I like this quote:
"Parrish compared N.C. State to Khloe Kardashian, the least attractive of the Kardashian sisters. Duke and UNC were Kim and Kourtney."
