Neither negative or positive. Just a reprinting of someone else's numbers with no editorial comment on your part.

Had the numbers been bad, however, there's a good chance they would have been accompanied by a snide remark or some passive aggressive swipe at Buzz.

Agreed with Lennys, and who can complain about being in the top 15? Buzz has an excellent track record so far, with no one leaving early. Who knows, if guys like Blue and Wilson develop at a high rate over the next two years, and if Todd Mayo proves to have close to his brother's level of talent, our graduation rates could go down once these guys complete their junior years.

But that's all pipe dreaming...either way, proud that we are graduating kids and doing well in the classroom. Representing Marquette off the court is just as important as doing it on the court.

Having MU as one of the smartest teams in the tournament, top 15 isn't positive?

Tough crowd.

Forgive me, but I thought it was very positive and that's why I posted it.  I didn't realize additional commentary was needed.

Chicos- Why even make a comment making light of the idea that you are constantly anti-Buzz?  It's like you wanted people to start taking pot shots at you about posting this article.

Because he isn't anti-Buzz.  People taking pot shots at him are ridiculous.  Laughing at the situation is the only thing he can do because there's no reason to argue with somebody on an emotional warpath.

I just feel like had he not made that comment, no one would have come at him for this post.  Just my 2 cents.

So now Chico's positive posts have to come with a warning label?

WARNING: Chico's is about to post something positive about MU / Buzz without any negative commentary or implications.

I've read that his negative posts run between 51% and 95%, so shouldn't we just treasure a positive post for what it is?

Because the same 4 or 5 people take pot shots anyway, doesn't matter what is said, so might as well cut them off at the pass.

I believe to properly hit "vast majority" criteria, the minimum threshold is 75% to 95%, but Lenny would have to quantify for us.  I would think a reasonable person would say 60% to 74% would simply say "majority" and leave the vastness out of the description.  Then we have the 51% to 59% which might be characterized as "barely a majority", but again Lenny would have to clarify for us.

Of course, none of this matters since none of the above is true and nothing even approaching a majority (vast or otherwise) of my Buzz posts are negative...but those pesky details are ignored.
