Kemba Walker hits jumper at the buzzer for UConn. Now that win at UConn looks even more awesome.
I guess that makes our win against UCONN even bigger!!
How long until Boehiem starts complaining about the double bye?
Root for the teams we played twice! Great job kemba!
I'd put Calhoun's celebration right up there with Buzz's walk it out.

Not as much style, but he is a bit older.
That move/shot was absolutely insane. McGee fricken fell down, 'broke his ankles'. That was unbelievable... but I had a feeling he was gunna hit it.
Gary McGee guarding Kemba Walker.....hahahahahahaha

Agreed, didn't have the panache that Buzz's had, but the sheer awkward jubilation was pretty awesome.
That was some stone cold assassin type play from Kemba. UConn could play their way into a 3-seed if they keep this up. They may have already.

+1
...not sure I would allow a switch that would put O'tule or Gardner on walker there...
amazing. who knows how the big east teams will be seeded in the NCAA after this all shakes out.
To make things easier on the committee they should have the Big East Tournament be it's own region in the NCAA tournament.

Good idea, but then we's be limited to only one team in the Final Four.
If MU is an 8 or 9 seed, we'd be in line for facing either Ohio State or Kansas if both ND and Pitt are 1 seeds. Any chance Pitt's loss will drop them to a 2? I'd hope so - our 2nd game will be tough regardless but I'd hope to avoid a game against OSU or Kansas if at all possible.

Damn it. The one flaw in my plan ;D

Depends on if you think UNC, Duke, or Texas is worthy of a 1 seed. I could see Duke moving up to a 1 seed, but probably not Texas or UNC... which might be a good thing, the way UNC has been playing of late.

Doesn't sound like this will drop Pitt, though they are 3-3 in their last 6 after today's loss. Depends a lot on what other teams do. ND probably has to win at least two games, maybe the tourney to assure themselves of being on the one line. They could be there already, but a loss to Cincy or Marquette (crosses fingers) could put them back to a 2. Duke will have a shot at the top line if they win the ACC tourney, and I think Purdue can also get there if they win the Big Ten. The other team that could sneak away with a top seed might be Texas, though losing 3 of their last 5 regular season games, and 2 of those to teams that could be outside the field, will likely mean they are a 2 seed at best.
Lots to be determined, but my guess is that Ohio State, Kansas, and Pitt are locks to be 1-seeds, and the next best conference champ (Duke, Purdue, ND) will get the last one.
So, what you're saying' is after UL, we have a cakewalk to the BE championship.

Who cares... We would be able to get to the second weekend.

I honestly watched McGee fall down a good 5 times in a row. Hilarious

Kemba was a stud on that possession. i was watching and started to think, "whens he gonna make a move toward the basket?" Then he broke McGee's ankles and calmly nails a 20 foot jumper. Cool as ice. Awesome.

Absolutely hilarious to watch that.
