Turning point of the game in my opinion. Maybe Cadougan starting to push the pace was the turning point but Fulce's three was the tipping point. I love how he shot it so confidently, too. Came off the bench and did his job on his fix-a-flat knee. He's giving us everything he has left in him, and I really hope he stays around the program in some capacity. I know Buzz has mentioned something about it before, but I hope it happens.
I think that both Cadougan's play in the 2nd half and Fulce's 3 were huge but I think the turning point was the back to back 3's by DJO. Defense creating offense.

I think those were the nails in the coffin, especially the 2nd one. Fulce's three seemed to snatch all the momentum that was building and take it for good. Semantics though, they were all great plays
Loved his contribution but I don't agree. Our defense was the turning point. It was tied for some time and we couldn't do squat against the 1-3-1. Outside of DJO's second three, I think all of our points in the end came in transition.
The 1-3-1 was definitely causing us problems. I don't think we ever solved it.
I agree Joe's shot was sweet and a killer but our D caused the MUTANT MOUNTAINEERS to fold. Can't help but think of the "Wrong Turn " movies whenever I hear West Virginia

I thought that was the game when they busted it out. It frustrated us for a while but was essentially broken for good when Crowder flashed to the middle and flipped a perfect touch pass to DJO for the trey bomb. I'm pretty sure everyone touched it and the ball saw every corner of the court on that possession. About as perfect as you can get.

I hate to be critical during a big win but I was pissed at Buzz. It was a close game, WV put the 1-3-1 in place with about 5 minutes left. The first possession we struggled to get the ball pass the three point line. We had 4 TO's and I wasn't sure why Buzz couldn't see us struggling mightily against the 1-3-1 and call a TO and draw up a play. I know the next stoppage at the time was going to be a TV TO but we had 4 TOs and it was a tight game.
