Perfect opportunity for revenge for the meltdown.
What is the old saying," Revenge is a dish best served cold"?

No, rumor and Rick's testimony was that he performed in about 45 seconds.
It'll be tough to win 3 nights in a row...but it'd be great to pay them back!
Screw 3 in a row...let's be greedy...I want 5 in a row!
Im sure the players wanted this game badly after they saw the bracket. Time for revenge. Perhaps the time off will hurt Louisville

Last year when they went to the double bye, three of the 4 teams that had it lost their first game.
I cant locate their year by year BE tourney record...but I seem to recall a few years where it seemed Pitino blew off the first game...lost and just seemed to prep. for their NCAA run.
Arent Pitt, WVU, and Georgetown the best in recent years of going deep into BE tourney, and hasnt Louisville had their share of first game flameouts?
My inquiring mind would like to know.

2010: 6-seed Louisville loses to Cincinnati
2009: 1-seed Louisville beats Providence, Villanova, Syracuse, wins Big East Tournament
2008: 2-seed Louisville loses to Pittsburgh
2007: 2-seed Louisville beats West Virginia, loses to Pittsburgh
2006: 12-seed Louisville loses to Pittsburgh
Pretty sure those seedings are all right.
Burr and Higgins have the triple bye for the rest of the tournament, let's hope.
