i can only assume we're not a 100% lock yet. some bracket definitely still has us out; i can't wait for the post that points out exactly which bracket that is. and someone else to point out how many times brackets that have us in this year, have been wrong in the past.
Were a lock. Definitely
no - we are in. done and done
really? why post this crap - they are in...

Is it unreasonable to think we've jumped Nova? Cinci put a beatdown on USF in the second half, and USF was the last in a long line of teams to beat Nova down the stretch. I think we pass the "eye" test ahead of Nova now, even if they have a better full resume.
No.
No, but we will beat Louisville, and anything after that is gravy.
Haha. Give it up guys, we re in. Or do we need to win the tournament in order to get the automatic bid?

that's kinda the vibe some posters seem to be giving out around here. nothing is ever good enough

It is a seeding question now for MU.
MU was a lock after beating PC.
I want payback versus the Dirty Bird's.
The hell with seeding! We know we can beat Louisville...we can make the championship of this tournament. Let's get this thing!!
Thanks so much for this awesome thread.
Maybe this team should keep thinking they aren't in yet...I like the way they are playing.
I think we might be giving Villanova fans the sweats. If they only select 10 BE teams, it would be hard to put in Villanova over MU at this stage. If we beat UL, I think we could get a 7.
Last season 3 of the 4 teams that had the double-bye lost.
There is absolutley no question at this point, MU IS IN!!! i'd guess were a 8-9 seed at this point, and with each more win in the BET i'd say we move up 1 seed.
We might have a 7 already. Tough to tell how they'll seed us, especially with so many Big East teams in. If we beat UL, we'll move ahead of 'Nova in seeding almost for sure.
And since I thought we were in before the Providence game, safe to say we're a lock...though I'd rather just put any doubt to bed by getting the auto-bid.
We need 2 more wins to be a lock ;)
Even if we win the tournament I expect this question to be asked on here haha.
Ha, nice, love the thread.
I'd argue we're ahead of Georgetown AND Nova now in terms of seeding. This team looks HUNGRY! Would love to put a BE tourney championship stamp on our resume.... ton of work left but the only team left that we don't match up well against is Pitt. LET's DO THIS!
We are in. As I said earlier there were only two scenarios that would prevent MU from getting in. Loss to WV and USF wins the BE or Loss to WV and Rut wins BE. Now, if the committee only takes 10 it won't be a Rutgers or USF with the AQ and it won't be Nova.
I thought we would be in for a while but now we don't have any remote scenario that prevents us from being in. Unless the committee is corrupt.
thats not a very remote possibility

What are the chances we move in front of WVU in seeding?
Are you serious? We're in. Let it go. We're playing with house money from here on out.

Do people around here not get sarcasm? The OP was laying it on pretty thick there.

I think you meant three more.

So we should root against Rutgers in the final 1.7 seconds of their game?
We are in!!! So now can we lose and go home and start getting ready for the big dance. I said last week I would take the ring, but if this is the team we are going to see in the tournament then get out of New York, and prep for the real thing. That being said I would love to be the snot out of Louisville!!!
