I didn't know MU was a fixture in the Top 25 for much of the season.  I must have missed a lot of polls.

I have to think he meant Villanova.

Well, he did say "all three", referring to Nova, UConn, and us. Pretty sure he just messed up.

Could be, although as Brew said, he did word it kind of weird if that's what he meant.

The actual quote from the article: "Marquette was a fixture in the Top 25 for much of the season"

Goodman probably just has a hard time thinking of a top 25 without Marquette in it.  I have the same problem.

Seems Goodman could benefit from spending some time with award winning writer Jim Hague.

Bobby Knight said that you could argue winning the Big East tourney would be more difficult than the NCAA Tournament.

Here's an interesting comment from Basketball Prospectus:

There'll be 15 games played at Madison Square Garden between Tuesday afternoon and Saturday night. And unless DePaul, South Florida, Providence, Rutgers, and Seton Hall start springing upsets left and right, there's a good chance that only one of those 15 games (Seton Hall vs. Rutgers, Tuesday at 2 ET) will feature two opponents who are not going to the NCAA tournament.
